Financial GiftsMonetary donations support our ministry. Help us make a difference, and give.
Financial Gifts Matter
Obviously we couldn’t do all we do without the financial gifts of our congregation. We need money to maintain our building and grounds, pay our staff, and support our on-going mission projects.
When it comes to finances at FP-SSP, our goal is to be good stewards and give generously, while setting some funds aside for hard times when our mission projects need our help the most. (The 2020 pandemic is a good example of this!)
All donations to the church are tax deductible save items purchased for personal use (study guides, camp registrations, bake sale items, Christmas wreaths, etc.). It is up to you and your accountant to determine the tax-deductible portion of your contributions.
All donors receive year-end giving statements for tax purposes. Donors are asked to open and check their year-end statements carefully so that any corrections can be made before the books are closed around the second week of January.
If you have any questions, contact Financial Secretary Lois Glewwe at 651-457-3403 or email her at email@example.com.
Ways to Give
If you prefer to donate by cash or check, please request a set of giving envelopes by calling the church office at 651-451-6223. The envelopes help our counters avoid mistakes. If you no longer need envelopes then give the office another call. We love going green!
One of the quickest and easiest ways to support our church is by signing up to have your pledge and per capita payments taken automatically out of your savings or checking account. This option has no fees or bank charges for either you or the church. Download the ACH sign-up form.
While we welcome donations anytime and anywhere, please keep in mind that FP-SSP has to pay additional processing fees on all credit card transactions. Click here to give online.
Mobile App Giving
Search for “Vanco Mobile Faith Engagement” in Google’s Play Store or Apple’s App Store. Vanco is great for giving electronically on a regular or irregular basis.
