Adult Education @ First Presbyterian

Theologians

Lenten Program

Bible Study

Here at First Presbyterian we believe in life-long Christian education. Committing ourselves to Christ is the crucial first step in a long journey that helps us to grow in wisdom, understanding and reverence for God and all people. From September through May we offer a number of  educational choices.  Adult education opportunities are available nearly every Sunday morning from 8:45 - 9:45 a.m.

THEOLOGIAN-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM

The Theologian-in-Residence program was begun in 1991. It was designed to bring theologians to the local congregation. The program has an ecumenical emphasis and has featured theologians from Luther Seminary, United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, University of St. Thomas, and Temple Israel. The program has also featured special themes, such as, The Year of the Arts  and The Year of the Woman.

These programs have brought a rich variety of learned speakers to First Presbyterian.
